West Valley crash sends 4 people to the hospital, 2 with serious injuries

The crash happened near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix on Saturday. Here are the latest details.

PHOENIX — Four people have been hospitalized, two of them with serious injuries, after a crash in the West Valley, according to the Phoenix Fire Department

The department said the crash happened near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road on Saturday. 

Firefighters from both the Phoenix and Glendale Fire Departments responded to the scene where two cars collided and injured four people, all of whom were able to get out of the cars by themselves.  

A juvenile girl and a pregnant woman were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Two other women were also hurt and taken to the hospital but they had minor injuries.  

No other details were released.
