TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona's second White Castle location in Tempe is set to hold a grand opening celebration on Nov. 28.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place next week at the opening of the new White Castle near Interstate 10 and Warner Road. The daily operating hours at the location will temporarily be set at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A 60-slider limit will be implemented to keep the restaurant's first customers from ordering too many White Castle sliders. No online or delivery orders will initially be offered at this location.
When Arizona's first White Castle location opened in Scottsdale a few years ago, some fans camped out for days so they could be the first to "storm" the White Castle. The Scottsdale location had to briefly close for a few hours due to a "record-setting" turnout on opening day.
More than 350 White Castle locations operate throughout the country.
