PHOENIX — Arizona's weather is warmer than average as we kick off the weekend.
A weather disturbance will drop in over the weekend speeding up strong southwest winds. Gusts will range between 45-65 mph across northern Arizona and up to 40 mph gusts for the Valley.
On Sunday, there's a slight chance for spotty showers to show up in northern Arizona.
Cooler conditions are cued up for all of Arizona on Sunday and Monday. Temps won't make it out of the 80s on Sunday in Phoenix.
For the next week, sunshine will dominate our sky.
Even looking a week out, still no triple-digits in sight so far this May!
