The single-vehicle rollover crash happened on Friday evening near 23rd Avenue and Roeser Road. The man who was killed has now been identified.

PHOENIX — A day after a rollover crash in west Phoenix killed a man and left another with serious injuries, the victim of the crash has now been identified by the Phoenix Police Department

This comes as officers continue to search for a third man who witnesses say ran from the scene of the crash.

Police said officers were called just after 4:45 p.m. on Friday due to the crash, which happened near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and Roeser Road.

Officers found a car on its roof, just off the road, near a wall. Two men were found on the ground next to the car. One of the men was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and has been stabilized, according to police. The other man, identified as 38-year-old Terrell Guerra, died at the scene of the crash.

Police have not yet found the man who ran from the crash.

Police added that their investigation shows that Guerra was the driver of the car and was speeding when he hit a curb, lost a wheel and rolled over before crashing into the wall.

Detectives are still investigating the crash.
