PHOENIX — Bluey and Bingo are headed to the desert — the popular children's show now has a theatrical adaptation and will take center stage at the Arizona Financial Theatre in February.

Bluey is an Australian-based children's TV series created by Joe Brumm that started in 2018. The show follows Bluey, a 6-year-old Blue Heeler puppy, and her family: her father Bandit, her mother Chilli and her younger sister, Bingo.

The play will focus on Bluey and Bingo's attempts — full of games and cleverness, the news release said — to get their dad off the bean bag on a Sunday afternoon.

Now your favorite puppies are going worldwide and taking "Bluey's Big Play," the theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning show, to stages across the country.
