KINGMAN, Ariz. — Mojave Co. Sheriff's deputies arrested 33-year-old Christopher Kacos after a man was killed in a shooting early Monday morning.

The sheriff's office says people called them around 4:45 a.m. saying they heard multiple gunshots on John Norman Lane, near the intersection of Stockton Hill Road and Jagerson Avenue in Kingman.

When deputies got to the scene, they found a man dead in the road with gunshot wounds to the head, neck and face.

Deputies then found Kacos nearby and took him into custody.

A shotgun and three spent shells were found near the body.

The sheriff's office says Kacos later admitted to the shooting, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

The victim has not been identified.
