Glendale police searching for man accused of sexually assaulting teens inside grocery stores

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man is wanted by the Glendale Police Department after he allegedly sexually assaulted several teenagers inside grocery stores.

Investigators say the man roamed stores along Bethany Home Road and offered a handshake to minors between 13 and 15 years old. When the victim accepted the handshake, police say the man pulled the victim into his body and forced their hands on his genitals.

Police say the suspect assaulted at least three minors between last August and late February of this year.

Police describe the suspect as being about 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds. Witnesses say he had a distinctly curved nose and a scar across the bridge. Police say he also has a thick Spanish accent.
