Glendale police looking for witnesses in unsolved homicide from 2022

The Glendale Police Department said the deadly shooting happened on March 5, 2022. Demone Wilson, 20, was one of three people shot near 47th and Glendale avenues.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Demone Wilson was shot and killed in Glendale 2022 and nearly two years later, police are still looking for those responsible for killing him.

Investigators said Wilson and his friends were walking up to a building with a recording studio in the area. That's when an unknown suspect (or suspects) began to shoot at them. Wilson died from injuries sustained in the shooting. The shooter (or shooters) ran away before police arrived.

Police said several witnesses were at the recording studio at the time of the shooting. Investigators want to speak to these people.

Arizona's Silent Witness program allows people to send in tips and share information about crimes happening within their local communities.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
