West Valley man dies after fight with neighbor

The fight led to a stabbing that led to one of the men being sent to the hospital and then dying. Here's the latest information.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A West Valley man is dead after a fight with his neighbor led to him being stabbed on Saturday night, according to Glendale police

Police say the fight happened just before 9:30 Saturday night at a home near the intersection of 67th and Glendale avenues. 

Two men, who are neighbors, got into a fight and one of the men stabbed the other, according to police. The 49-year-old man who was stabbed was taken to the hospital to have his injuries treated, but he was alert. He then died after arrival at the hospital, police said. 

The suspect is in police custody.

Neither the victim nor the suspect have been identified. Police are waiting for approval from the detective on the case before they release more information.
