Man dead, 2 others injured after Phoenix shooting

Officers were called to the scene near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road Thursday evening.

PHOENIX — One man is dead and two women are injured after shots were fired at a Phoenix home where a large social gathering was taking place Thursday night.

Phoenix police said officers were called to a home near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road around 9 p.m. to investigate a shooting call.

When officers arrived, they found two adult females and an adult male who had been shot. Police said all three victims were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital. He's been identified as 26-year-old Felix Espino-Garcia.

Authorities are investigating what led to the shooting. No arrests have been announced by police.

The program shares unsolved felony case information in multiple ways, including TV, radio and social media.

Anyone who has information on a crime or recognizes a suspect described by the program is asked to call 480-948-6377, go to the program's website online or download the Silent Witness app to provide a tip. The identity of anyone who submits a tip is kept anonymous.

Calls to Silent Witness are answered 24/7 by a live person and submitted tips are accepted at all times. Submitted tips are then sent to the detective(s) in charge of the specific case.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
