A couple of months ago, I got a message from some saying, "you need to do a story on a kid named Brandon Kwan out at Mesquite High School.”
I remember thinking, “who is this kid?”
Then I met him, and I left our interview saying to myself this so-called kid had a spirit I’ve rarely seen covering sports.
B-K, as his friends call him, was born with hypochondroplastia. It’s a form of dwarfism where your arms and legs aren’t proportion to your body. But that hasn’t stopped him from chasing his NBA dreams.
