ASU football has yet to play its first game of the 2018 season, but it’s already making big plays. During a recent team meeting, Herm Edwards had quite the surprise for an unsuspecting Sun Devil lineman.
Defensive lineman Jordan Hoyt was asked to speak during the meeting, but his appearance was meant for something more.
After addressing the team, a sign was projected behind Hoyt announcing he was awarded a full scholarship to Arizona State University.
In a video shared on Twitter, you can see Hoyt get surrounded by his teammates after the news was revealed.
Nice job, coach.
