Deadline to register for Presidential Preference Election is Feb. 20

Those who are not registered can do so online at Arizona.vote.

PHOENIX — The 2024 election season is in full swing and one big deadline for Arizona voters is coming up this week.

The deadline to register to vote in the Presidential Preference Election is Tuesday, Feb. 20. Early voting will begin the day after, on Feb. 21. 

Only voters registered with the Democrat and Republican parties can vote in the PPE. Independents must re-register with one of the parties to vote in that party's primary.

Though county offices are closed Monday for President's Day, residents can register to vote at arizona.vote
