Powerball winning lottery ticket sold in Arizona

The winning ticket was sold in Yuma and is worth $50,000.

YUMA, Ariz. — One person in Arizona could be $50,000 richer!

A winning Powerball lottery ticket was sold at a gas station in Yuma near S Avenue A and 24th Street on May 1, according to the Arizona Lottery.

There was also one Mega Multiplier Progressive winner on May 1 worth $222,452 sold at Maverick in Holbrook, Arizona. That was the last top prize for the game, Arizona Lottery said.
