VP Kamala Harris speaks in Phoenix as part of 'Fight for Reproductive Freedoms' tour

The trip is the vice president's fourth to Arizona since being sworn in January 2021.

PHOENIX — Vice President Kamala Harris will be in the Valley Friday, following President Joe Biden's State of the Union address.

The trip to Phoenix will mark Harris' fourth trip to Arizona since she was sworn in as vice president in January 2021. Since the beginning of 2024, Harris has visited 12 states.

Harris is expected to speak about several topics during her visit to the Valley including the right to contraception. 12News will be covering her Valley visit as she is expected to land in Phoenix later Friday.

After she visits Phoenix, Harris will be in Las Vegas the following day.

In October 2023, Harris visited Northern Arizona University as part of her Fight For Freedom college tour.
