Valley Metro is partnering with Molson Coors to provide a safe ride to Phoenix-area residents on New Year's Eve

PHOENIX — To celebrate the new year responsibly, Molson Coors is partnering with Valley Metro to offer free rides to Phoenix-area residents on New Year's Eve.

The fare-free service will be offered to Phoenix-area residents. No cost transportation will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31 and will last until the end of service on the bus, rail, and ADA Dial-a-Ride service to usher in the new year.

"This is our ninth year participating in the Coors Light Free Rides program. Our partnership is  very valuable because it provides an incentive to use transit for safe travel across the Valley to celebrate one of the most festive nights of the year," said Jessica Mefford-Miller, CEO, Valley Metro. "Our mission at Valley Metro is to provide an affordable, safe and dependable transportation option for Phoenix residents and visitors alike. The Coors Light Free Rides program aligns with that goal.”
