TEMPE, Ariz. - Thousands of vinyl banners are made for ASU games, departments, and so much more. But when the banners are thrown away it takes years for them to decompose.

A new project at the university offers jobs to those with disabilities. The idea is to create a new business venture by turning recycled banners into tote bag.

Four team members from TCH, an organization that helps those with disabilities, has partnered with Arizona Apparel Foundation. The four members make tote bags that are then sold for $18 in ASU’s bookstore.
