Silver Alert for Antonio Alvarez canceled after officials find his body

Phoenix police officials said there were no signs of foul play.

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert for Antonio Alvarez has been canceled after officials found his body on Nov. 29, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officials do not believe foul play was involved in his death. The Avondale Police Department is conducting a death investigation to learn more about what happened to Alvarez. 

Alvarez was last seen on Nov. 21. His family told 12News that he had been diagnosed with dementia and left behind his cell phone and wallet, so he had no identification with him and his family was not able to reach him. 

No other information was given.
