Eastbound US 60 was shut down at Higley Road after a deadly hit-and-run crash early Friday morning, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
According DPS, the crash happened just after 4:30 a.m. A flatbed truck rolled ejecting one occupant. DPS said that person died and a vehicle left the scene of the crash.
Eastbound US 60 was closed during the investigation. It reopened just before 11 a.m.
