SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — What happens if your DoorDash driver is arrested en route to you? Oddly enough, one Arizona man can now answer that question.
In a video posted by the Scottsdale Police Department on Facebook, a Scottsdale police officer is seen asking someone if they ordered DoorDash from Filibertos in January 2024. When the person says she isn't sure, she asks her son if he ordered food. The son is heard on the video saying yes.
"Your driver got arrested," the officer said as he handed over the food. "But I just wanted to finish the delivery for you."
The video and post on Facebook did not say what the driver was arrested for. But one thing is for sure: this officer went the extra mile — literally — to deliver.
