Body found in I-10 median near Buckeye still unidentified, police say

Police say they have still not identified the body.

BUCKEYE, Ariz. — Police located a body in a median on I-10 in Buckeye just west of Watson Road on Friday, and they're still trying to identify who it was. 

The body of an African American woman was found in various stages of decomposition on May 22. An autopsy determined the woman was hit by a vehicle. 

Investigators have still not figured out who the woman is. They are continuing to investigate.
