Showers and thunderstorms are popping back up Thursday along the Mogollon Rim a day after heavy rain sent flowing water across Flagstaff-area streets and debris into a neighborhood.
The neighborhood sits just below the footprint of the Schultz Fire, which burned on the eastern flank of the San Francisco Peaks in 2010.
Rain gauges throughout the Schultz burn scar recorded precipitation ranging up to nearly 6 inches.
12 News Meteorologist Lindsay Riley said there are spots that have already seen more than 3 inches Thursday, and it continues to rain.
The storms are nearly stationary in the High Country, dumping 1 to 2 inches of rain per hour.
Flash flooding, damaging winds and quarter-size hail are possible.

A tweet by the National Weather Service's Flagstaff office Thursday advised northern Arizona residents to "be ready to seek shelter."
NWS said there were flash flood and severe thunderstorm warnings in place for the eastern parts of Flagstaff.
Heavy raining was already falling in Flagstaff around 1 p.m.
