The incident happened near the Westgate Entertainment District and police say it was not related to Final Four festivities nearby. Here are the latest details.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Two men have been sent to the hospital after a shooting and fight near the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, according to the city's police department

Glendale police said they got calls about a shooting near 9500 W. Glendale Avenue around 10 p.m. on Saturday. That address is the northwest corner of the Westgate Entertainment District.

Officers who were already at Westgate responded and found two men who were injured. One of the men had been shot and has non-life-threatening injuries. The other man had an injury to his face after a fight. Both men were taken to a nearby hospital.

Police were not able to find any suspects in the shooting and fight at the scene and said they left before officers arrived and are still outstanding.

Glendale police said the scene of the shooting and the fight is secure and there is no threat to the general public. They also want to stress that this was an isolated incident and was in no way related to the Final Four festivities happening nearby.

The people involved in this incident were not attending any Final Four events.

No one involved in the case has been identified and police have not yet said what led up to the fight and shooting.

This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
