The fire at the Legado Luxury Apartments on Main Street started around 1:15 a.m. on April 1 and quickly consumed one of the buildings currently under construction, fire officials said.

At one point, the flames stretched roughly 150 feet into the air. Nearby roads were closed and apartment buildings were evacuated as crews worked to put out the blaze.

The fire at Bradshaw Mountain High School occurred on April 4. It was reportedly contained to an electrical box near campus, but both power and internet services to the school were affected. The school was also temporarily closed.
