AVONDALE, Ariz. — Traffic has reopened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near 107th Avenue after two semi-trucks were involved in a collision.
One of the tractor-trailers overturned and combusted during the collision, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Both drivers managed to exit their vehicles with minor injuries.
Sky12 footage shows one of the trucks sustained notable front-end damage.
DPS said the right three lanes of I-10 were blocked for a brief period of time before they reopened.
