From Thursday night's stormy skies in Mesa to a business panel indoors Friday morning in Chandler, Mitt Romney stumped for Sen. John McCain.

Romney spoke for less than 10 minutes about McCain at a "Get Out the Vote" rally Thursday night.

He praised Arizona's senior senator in front of a crowd of supporters at the Chicago Cubs' spring training stadium for his experience and "get-it-done" attitude.

"John McCain has shown that you can have principle and conviction and strength and work with good-minded people on the other side of the aisle to get things done," Romney said. "We need John McCain and the get-it-done attitude in Washington."

He also said the people need a government they can trust.

"Our country needs people of character and integrity, and I don't know anyone who stands taller than John McCain when it comes to heroism and character and proven integrity," Romney said.

Friday morning, McCain and Romney were on stage at Infusionsoft in Chandler for a business panel about the issues facing small businesses.

The two discussed the importance of small business, entrepreneurship and the free enterprise system.

"Small business, entrepreneurship are the backbone of our economy," Romney said.

McCain is seeking a sixth term in office against Democrat Anne Kirkpatrick.
