It looks like rain is headed to the Valley this week.

As clouds make their way into Phoenix, the forecast calls for an increase in rain chances as the week progresses.

According to our own James Quinones, it's been more than 30 days since Phoenix has seen any rain. Now it looks like our chances for rain will start today and continue through Friday.

The National Weather Service has rain chances for Phoenix at more than 50 percent for Wednesday evening.

More than half an inch of rain is possible for most of eastern Arizona.

So it looks like you'll need to pack an umbrella at least through Thursday.

Stay dry out there.
