World Wildlife Zoo evacuated after bomb threat

World Wildlife Zoo was evacuated Saturday after someone called in a bomb threat to the restaurant in the aquarium, a zoo spokesperson said.

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - World Wildlife Zoo was evacuated Saturday after someone called in a bomb threat to the restaurant in the aquarium, a zoo spokesperson said.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office quietly evacuated the zoo as a precaution. There are no active threats, according to deputies.

The zoo will reopen Sunday.
