Woman fighting for her life after being struck by Phoenix city bus

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. near 35th Avenue and Osborn Road.

PHOENIX — A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a Phoenix city bus early Tuesday morning.

According to police reports, the crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. near 35th Avenue and Osborn Road.

First responders took the woman, who has not been identified at this time, to the hospital. Officials said they will provide updates on her status as they receive them.

The area around the intersection is shut down in all directions as detectives work to learn what led up to the crash.
