The Phoenix police officer sustained minor injuries, police say.

PHOENIX — A police patrol car rolled over after hitting a bus stop and light pole in west Phoenix early Sunday morning.

A Phoenix police officer was "investigating a vehicle driving at high speeds" on 16th Street near University Drive. While driving, a car pulled in front of the officer. The officer swerved to avoid hitting the car and struck a bus stop and a light pole, police said.
