The team doctors for the Phoenix Suns are well known in the NBA and across pro sports for being among the best.

Aaron Nelson is part of that team. Nelson is the vice president of athlete care and the head athletic trainer for the Phoenix Suns. He's known for taking older, banged up players and healing them to win with the right care.

Players like Steve Nash, Danny Granger, Brandon Knight, and Alex Len have all needed physical help. Nelson is there to make sure these players get healthy, with the extra help of some technology. There's an iPad and app to monitor each muscle and joint of each player.

There's also a machine called a cryo-sauna, which is so cold your body thinks it's dying.

"All the blood rushes to the organs. It oxygenates that area with blood which we know it does. Then as soon as they get out the blood, it goes back to the peripherals - the arms, the legs, the fingers, the hands, toes," Nelson said.

In the end, it's all about winning, and the only way to do that, is by having healthy players.

"When you are dealing with payrolls upwards of $70 million and beyond, there is a lot of pressure for us to keep our guys on the court," he said.
