Have you seen this person? Phoenix police are searching for a suspect in an alleged armed robbery

The suspect entered a Fry's in south Phoenix and presented a cashier with a note stating that he had a gun and demanding cash, police say.

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for information related to an alleged armed robbery at a south Phoenix Fry's in June 2023.

A suspect entered a Fry's store near Baseline Road and 7th Street on June 4, 2023, v at approximately 11:30 a.m. The man approached a cashier and presented a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash. After he retrieved the cash, the suspect rode away on a BMX bike, Phoenix police said.

Police said the suspect is Hispanic, in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and is medium build. When the incident occurred, he was wearing black, square-shaped dark glasses, a black hat, a black champion sweater with white letters, red basketball shorts, black shoes and had a black Nike backpack on.
