PHOENIX - Bus drivers in Mesa and Tempe threatened to go on strike soon if their demands are not met.

The union representing bus drivers says the workers are upset about working 14-hour days, being forced to work on their days off and not having any scheduled bathroom breaks.

The strike would begin at the end of June if an agreement is not met, and it would impact public transportation across the entire east Valley and metro Phoenix.
