GILBERT, Ariz. - A Gilbert man faces nine counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after admitting sexual contact with a 6-year-old girl in Laveen and multiple 16-year-old boys.
Paul Frederick Jordan, 24, used the Grindr dating app to meet the boys, according to court documents.
Homeland Security agents served a search warrant on Jordan's home May 30 to investigate the distribution of nine child porn videos via the messenger app Kik.
A user named "dbackspaul" sent the graphic videos to a group named "#chil.d.por.n" on Dec. 9, 2017, court documents show. He had taken the videos and images from another Kik group.
In a post-Miranda interview, Jordan said that he was the one behind the message.
He later admitted to sexual contact with the 6-year-old girl and the 16-year-old boys.
It appears that the charges he faces are related to distributing the videos, but he may face additional charges for sexual contact with children.
