A federal judge on Thursday denied bail to Jon Ritzheimer, a Peoria man charged in the Oregon militant standoff, and ordered him transferred to Portland, Ore., for trial.
Federal Magistrate Eileen Willett ruled that Ritzheimer was a strong flight risk. Her order notes that he has a history of mental health issues and tested positive for marijuana when he was taken into custody.
