MESA, Ariz. — Four people were injured after a wrong-way crash on Loop 202 in Mesa Thursday morning, authorities said.
According to Arizona DPS, on April 25 around 3 a.m., a blue Dodge pickup was traveling south in the northbound lanes of SR 202 near Baseline Road when it crashed into a white Chrysler passenger vehicle.
Three occupants of the Chrysler had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, officials said. DPS said the driver of the Dodge pickup transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries as well.
Authorities said impairment is believed to be a factor. The northbound SR 202 reopened before 7 a.m. Thursday after troopers completed their investigation.
