PHOENIX — A wildfire on Apache Maid Mountain, just southeast of I-17 near the Stoneman Lake exit, has grown to 942 acres and is 100%, according to officials with the Coconino National Forest.

Firefighters will continue to patrol the area to make sure the fire stays contained.

The fire has been burning since Nov. 4 and was caused by a person, though no information on how it started was given.
