Patton Fire burning 425 acres near Wickenburg

Around 6:30 p.m. the forestry department said the fire's forward progression was stopped.

WICKENBURG, Ariz. - Crews are on scene of a brush fire burning roughly 425 acres, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management. 

The fire is located 18 miles south/southeast of Wickenburg and it is currently 50 percent contained. 

About 75 firefighters are on the ground and two air tankers are working to put the fire out. There have been no evacuation plans at this time.

Around 6:30 p.m., the forestry department said forward progression of the fire was stopped.
