Tie-dyed gear from Lisa Frank was a staple for 90s students.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Lisa Frank is hinting at a major comeback.

The colorful brand, which sold popular school supplies in the 90s and 2000s, appears to be reopening their warehouse in Tucson. The Lisa Frank TikTok account posted a video of two colorful characters looking toward the equally colorful, and very recognizable, building with the caption "We're baaaaaack."

The Tucson-based company is responsible for all the colorful, adorable cartoons adorning the cool kids’ school supplies in the ‘90s and early 2000s. The company started to see a decline in sales in the 2000s when interest in her designs started to wane. The factory shut its doors in 2013.

In 2019, Lisa Frank launched their website and the designs started to become popular again with nostalgic millennials and the new generation of kids.

Since then, the brand has partnered with companies like Crocs, Morphe and Loungefly. This allowed them to move past school supplies and sell products like shoes and makeup.
