Arizona got some love on a national list of the "Top 100 Best Places to Live."

Three Arizona cities made it on Livability.com's list.

Livability partnered with market research company Ipsos to conduct their study, surveying more than 1,000 millennials about what was important to them when they considered a relocation. The standout answers—including housing prices, job opportunities and affordability—were factored into the rankings.

Tempe, home of Arizona State University's main campus, ranked No. 18 with a "livability score" of 645.

That's not too far from the list's No. 1 city, Boise, Idaho, which had a score of 674.

Livability said Tempe got an especially high score in the infrastructure category (86), thanks mostly to its "impressive network of transportation."

The city also got high marks in the housing and economy categories, scoring 72 and 70, respectively. So Tempe's affordability appears to have played a big role in its ranking.

But Tempe wasn't the only Arizona city on the list.

Mesa was listed as No. 32, with a livability score of 631.

Its extensive bike routes, affordable housing and "vibrant arts and culture scene" helped earn the city a place on the list.

Mesa scored highest in housing (71), demographics (70) and infrastructure (68).

Tucson made it at No. 99 for its gorgeous southwest desert scenery and its access to outdoor activities, earning a livability score of 563.

The home of the University of Arizona—we're sensing a theme here—scored well in housing (61) and infrastructure (62).

The air quality in Tucson is also pretty great, according to the American Lung Association.

The outdoor activities and air quality got the city a high score in the health category, 63.
