SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy has made a name for himself as a pop culture icon and a sports personality.

But along with his online content, Portnoy is also known for something just as important.

Pizza reviews — ones that can make or break a pizza joint at that.

Anyone who follows Portnoy online is familiar with his "One Bite" pizza reviews of local restaurants in cities he visits. And since he is a frequent visitor to the Scottsdale area, he has reviewed several Valley pizza establishments.

For his most recent review, Portnoy gave his best Arizona recommendation ever.

He recently visited Trevor's Liquor in Phoenix near 36th Street and Indian School Road and had plenty to say about the pizza. The liquor store/restaurant has three Valley locations. This video review was filmed at the Arcadia store.

During the visit, Portnoy recorded one of his popular video reviews.

"How did we not know about this?" Portnoy asked in the video. "This is great."

Overall, the 8.3 /10 review for the pizza spot is his highest review ever for an Arizona restaurant. That ranking is high praise from the sports personality.

As he was leaving the location, Portnoy told the owners to get ready to be busy. Many of the restaurants that receive high marks from Portnoy often see increased business following the review.
