Ginger joins Team12 with two decades of experience in broadcast news. She has served as Chief Meteorologist in Palm Springs, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most recently, Ginger was an evening anchor in San Diego, California.
Ginger and her husband Bryan moved to Phoenix as part of a lifelong dream to call Arizona home.
Tune in to see her "user friendly forecast," a style she says helps people to gain awareness beyond the conditions and understand the weather pattern. Ginger is a member of the American Meteorological Society and says the best weather training came from farmers in the Coachella Valley who taught her how to read clouds.
In her free time, you'll find her hiking trails around Gateway, kayaking down the Salt River looking for wild horses, cheering on the Diamondbacks and her favorite player Lourdes Gurriel, Jr, going to concerts in Tempe or shopping at farmers markets for the freshest local flair.
And yes, her real name is Ginger. It's something she's learned to have fun with over the years as viewers have told her they've named their dogs, orange cats, and even a "spicy" chinchilla after her.
