Emergency healthcare coverage denied to vets

Military vets enrolled in the Veteran's Affaris healthcare plan are supposed to be covered if they experience a health emergency that forces them to go to a non-V.A. emergency room. However, the V.A. Inspector General released a report Tuesday that estimates 31% of denied or rejected non-VA emergency care claims were inappropriately processed and some of those inaccurately denied.
