Family of sex assault victim at Hacienda Healthcare says she is not in a vegetative state
The family of a woman who was sexually assaulted, resulting in the birth of a boy last month, at Hacienda Healthcare is saying she is not in a persistent vegetative state. 12 News spoke to a doctor to define the different possible states the victim could be in.
