Arizona Governor Doug Ducey weighs in on power shutoff suspension

APS power shutoffs are now banned until October 15th thanks to a unanimous vote by the Arizona Corporation Commission. The ban comes after the death of an elderly Sun City woman whose power was shut off in the triple-digit heat in 2018. Governor Doug Ducey says he supports the regulation but wouldn't answer questions about whether APS' CEO should be fired.
