Arizona's governor signs law to combat maternal deaths
The United States has the highest rate of maternal deaths in the developed world. That means women who are pregnant, giving birth or just gave birth die at a rate higher than any other first world country. SB 1040, Arianna's Law, was signed by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey Friday in order to figure out why these deaths occur in such high numbers.
