Suspect in stabbing death of Peoria teen charged with first-degree murder

The state of Arizona is considering the death penalty for Michael Adams, the suspect in the stabbing death of Peoria teen Elijah Al-Amin. Allegedly, Adams was threatened by the 17-year-olds rap music. A movement is growing to charge Adams with a hate crime, but there is no criminal hate crime charge in Arizona. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
