Man confesses to double fatal hit-and-run
According to his arrest report, LC Jones III told detectives he fled because he was scared and was driving on a suspended license. He's also blaming the pain killers he claims he took before getting in the car. Jones allegedly killed 17-year-old Nester Lopez and 28-year-old Edgar Lopez when he hit both men with his car at the intersection of 43rd Ave. and Osborn Rd. Saturday night.
