It was almost 100 degrees colder in PyeongChang than Phoenix yesterday

Paul Gerke's biggest adjustment so far in South Korea: the temperature.

One of Paul Gerke's biggest adjust so far in South Korea: the temperature.

The 12 News anchor is in PyeongChang to cover the 2018 Winter Olympics.

And needless to say, it is cold.

On Saturday, the temperature in PyeongChang was -1 with -16 wind chill. Phoenix hit over 80 degrees.

Paul finally made it to his room at the Olympic Village on Saturday morning (Arizona time), but he's 16 hours ahead in South Korea.

No time for jet lag, however, as he makes his way around the Olympic Village and heads out to watch the Super Bowl at a local sports bar.

You can follow Paul's adventures throughout the Olympics on his Facebook page.
