Are "Dreamers" closer to a deal that will allow them to stay in the U.S.?

Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, a member of the bi-partisan "gang of six" senators, announced a breakthrough Thursday. The group of senators also includes Republican Lindsey Graham and Democratic Sen. Richard Durbin.

They issued a statement that reads, in part, "We have been working for four months and have reached an agreement in principle that addresses border security, the diversity visa lottery, chain migration/family reunification, the Dream Act- The areas outlined by the president."

But late Thursday, the White House rejected the proposal. It is unclear what is missing from the deal.

The six senators said they had "an agreement in principle" but did not specify details.
